Steps to finding and applying for on-campus jobs:
- Prepare for your job search by creating a resume, cover letter and practice interviewing.
- Search and apply for open positions on the Jessup Job Board (more instructions below)
- If called for an interview, bring two copies of your resume and dress professionally.
- Work with your department supervisor to set up your HR orientation and schedule attendance at a New Student Worker Orientation.
All on-campus jobs are posted on the Jessup Job Board. Create an account using the information below, then search “My School’s Jobs” and click “Student Employment.”

The State of CA has hundreds of job openings on a regular basis. Applying for such positions works a little different from most, as you must 1) create an account, 2) take qualifying exams, then 3) apply for jobs. Staff Services Analyst positions are the most common entry level classification that students or recent grads might consider.
