Important Change: Students receiving academic accommodations must request services every semester.

Welcome back to school. I am looking forward to working with you this semester. There are a couple things that are changing in the Success Center in the way we are going to be delivering services to all of you. The information below was emailed out a week ago to students currently approved for academic accommodations, however we are listing it on discovery in case you haven’t checked your Jessup email account.

  • You need to look at the Recommendation of Accommodations, Supports and Resources form. (click link to get form) and fill out as much as you can, initial the accommodations you need in the space to the right of each column, then bring it to Anita Hermsmeier or Andre Mendoza to go over with you. Based on this form we will only be providing the services marked and approved after our brief meeting. You will not be provided services until this form has been turned in. Please do it right away so there is no lapse in the services you need.
  • If you get you books in an alternative format we are going to be delivering them in a different way this semester in the hope that it is easier for you and less time consuming for us. We have downloaded your books into a Google Drive folder for each of you individually. The catch is: I need receipts from you for the purchased books before I can give you the link to the books. The publishers are becoming more insistent about schools having proof of purchase. So, DO NOT THROW YOUR RECEIPTS AWAY!
  • Let one of the success center staff assist you if you have any questions or concerns, so we can work out solutions.
