While the WJU Learning Commons remains open during normal business hours, students have the option to meet remotely via phone or Google Hangout (WJU Gmail accounts). Meeting location preferences may be selected in the Online Scheduler (www.jessup.mywconline.com) at the creation of an appointment.

The Academy’s academic support programs (AASP) were created to partner with the academic support needs of first-year, continuing, and transfer students admitted to William Jessup University. All academic support programs listed below are linked to study skills services provided in the Learning Commons, including the Writing Center and tutoring in (primarily) math and other general education subjects. The following Academic Support Programs are offered to New and Transfer students upon application and acceptance:
Freshmen Academy is a required orientation program for new students in need of academic support who are considered for admission to William Jessup University. The program structure is limited to two semesters, where students are registered as a cohort. Academy students are pre-registered for their fall and spring semester courses, and students are able to graduate in four years. Optional Academic Interventions provided: tutoring, personal learning assessment, writing skills development, academic & career advisement, special needs services, Early Alert monitoring and referral. Additional academic support programs are available upon assessment of need.

Upon receipt of your enrollment deposit, you will be registered and placed in the appropriate Academy program and course requirements. The enrollment deposit of $750 is confirmation of your commitment to WJU and the Academy. It covers the one time $500 Academy fee and $250 toward tuition. You will be contacted prior to your first term and receive an outline of requirements and program expectations.
Transfer Academy is designed to assist new transfer students who are recommended for academic support. Students are registered for a one-unit semester orientation course with university faculty.
Upon receipt of your enrollment deposit, you will be registered and placed in the appropriate Academy program and course requirements. The enrollment deposit of $500 is confirmation of your commitment to WJU and the Academy. It covers the one time $250 Academy fee and $250 toward tuition. You will be contacted prior to your first term and receive an outline of requirements and program expectations.
