Looking for a book that the library doesn’t own? Thanks to a new library service known as Camino, WJU students, staff, and faculty can now borrow from over three million books held by California academic libraries. Whereas normal interlibrary loan requests typically take between 1-4 weeks to arrive, Camino requests generally arrive within a week!
To browse available titles or to make a request, visit camino.worldcat.org. If a title is available for you to borrow, there will be a blue “Request Item” box on the right side of the page. Just click that, select our institution, fill out your contact info, and you’re good to go! And of course, if a title is not available through Camino, you can still request via interlibrary loan here.
Here’s the current list of libraries that we can now borrow from through Camino:
- American Jewish University
- California Baptist University
- California Institute of the Arts
- Claremont Colleges Libraries
- Dominican University
- Holy Names University
- Loyola Marymount University
- Occidental College
- Pepperdine University
- University of the Pacific
- Western University of Health Sciences
- Westmont College
