Curricular and Extra-Curricular Groups

Select departments on campus have received approval for their groups to arrive early for mandatory functions (Examples of group early arrivals include Student Leadership, Early Fall Sport Athletic Team etc.). Those coming for early group arrivals will receive move-in information from the sponsoring department and are listed below:

Math and Writing Boot Camp Students:  August 14th. Check in time is from 12 – 1 or from 4 – 5 

Music Students:

–   Orchestra Students with UCO:  August 15th. Check in time is from 9 – 12 am

–   All other music students (the rest of UCO, JCC, etc.): August 15th. Check in time is from 5 – 6 pm

Sports teams should be in contact with their coaches for their move in date

Student Leadership:

–   First Year Captains need to arrive on Sunday, August 6th by 6:30 pm

–   All other leadership will need to arrive on August 4th

Individual Residents

Individuals requesting early arrivals must be approved by the Housing Office and must be able to prove a hardship making it necessary to move-in early. Fees may apply. Please submit your early arrival request here:



New student move-in takes place during morning hours on the first day of NSO. Move-in times typically correspond with the housing location you are assigned to. Please view the NSO schedule for more information about move-in.


Returning student move-in is from 1pm-5pm the day before classes begin.

Early arrivals, unless indicated otherwise in your move-in information, will go to the Womack Student Life Building to begin the check-in process.

New and Returning students who are not participating in early arrivals will go directly to their housing location where a check-in table will be set up for them.
