Types of Services and Academic Accommodations
For students without documented disabilities, Disability Support Services provides non-accommodative academic supports to help equip students to meet the demands of college.
- General supports include: academic mentoring, tutoring (English, math, Business), skills development, and learning styles assessment.
For students with document disabilities, Disability Support Services assists in the provision and implementation of academic accommodations.
- Academic services include: disability related advising, assessing appropriate accommodations tailored to individual needs, and campus liaison support.
- Academic accommodations Include, but are not limited to: testing accommodations, assistive technology, note takers, books on tape, priority registration, and study skills training, etc.
