Online Chapel Credit Process

Wondering how to get chapel credit when you’re watching chapels online this semester?

While the University is in the Red or Yellow Phase, there are 10 total chapels required for the semester. Students have the option to attend chapel viewing parties in person and scan their ID card for chapel credit or watch chapels online and submit a short 3-question reflection.

Chapels will be live streamed at jessup.online.church during our regular chapel times (Mondays at 8pm, Wednesdays at 9:30am, and Fridays at 9:30am) or will be accessible on Jessup Chapel’s Youtube after chapel has ended.

When chapel starts, you will be able to access a form that asks three reflection questions, which you will fill out once chapel has ended or you have finished watching the video. Filling out these reflection questions is the only way you will receive chapel credit if you are watching online. These forms are date specific so please be sure that the date on the form matches the date of the chapel.

The reflection question forms are only available for one chapel at a time and will be removed once the next chapel is live. This means if you want credit for watching a chapel online, the form must be submitted before the next chapel has ended, or by 5pm on Mondays if it is a Friday morning chapel.

For example, if you watched a Wednesday morning chapel online, the form must be submitted before Friday morning’s chapel ends. Once Friday morning’s chapel is over, you will no longer be able to submit Wednesday’s form and receive credit for Wednesday’s chapel.
