In light of the precautions surrounding COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, Campus Ministries encourages you to continue connecting and engaging spiritually in the Jessup community. In times that are uncertain or scary, God is the rock that secures our footing and our future. We pray we can encourage you virtually and that this may be a time of more growth and depth in your walk with the Lord. Take a look at the resources below for some ideas on how to stay engaged.
Chapel will be live-streamed at its normal times – Mondays at 8:00 PM, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 AM. Join us together as one campus body to hear from God’s Word and be encouraged together!
While we may not be able to collectively gather in worship, we can still lift up praises to our God! Listen to some of our current favorite worship songs on this Spotify Playlist. Recommendations welcome! Email them to email@example.com.
We want to continually be praying for you and your needs during this time. Please submit any prayer requests using this online form so that our team knows how to best pray for you.
Got some extra time on your hands? This is a great opportunity to establish a regular devotional time or push yourself to spend more time in God’s Word.
Solitude may be a spiritual discipline, but that doesn’t mean we should be living in complete isolation. Make sure to stay connected with others, despite our physical distance.
Consider setting up a FaceTime call with some of your friends or schedule a Zoom homework session with your wing-mates. We can still do our best to support one another, even if through a screen.
Additionally, keep tuning in to be with your church family. Many churches are live-streaming services so that they can still collectively gather as one body. Don’t have a home church? Check out our Local Church Guide Handout for more info. There’s no better time to church-hop than when you’re at home in your PJ’s.
Make sure to follow our Instagram page (@WJUCampusMin) for fun content and continued encouragement!
Finally, stay up to date with all University responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic at jessup.edu/coronavirus-information.
We also recommend regularly checking the CDC’s website for more information as well.
